Abstract:

This shape file contains the island properties that were purchased or transferred from the Province of BC to make up the proposed Gulf Islands National Park. The property boundaries were developed from the Integrated Cadastral (ici) data product developed through a consortium involved with the province.

Also include is the 25m foreshore, marine extensions and the marine components.

Data has been updated for all properties acquired as of April 15, 2005. These properties include Fry, Reider, Brown, Greenburn lake, David Elford exchange, and Lorretta's woods properties.

The fcode attribute field can be used to distinguish between terrestrial and submerged portions of the park.
